Dr. Christina
Dr. Christina Thomas
, owner of Active Life

Dr. Christina is a Springfield, MO native and obtained her B.A. from Drury University. She was inspired to explore chiropractic care because her husband’s father and grandfather were both chiropractors, and fell in love with the ability to provide healing care to patients without the use of medication. She attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS, receiving the Doctor of Chiropractic degree (DC). During her time at Cleveland she was selected to participate in two hospital internships, the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital and Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. To become a Certified Animal Chiropractor in addition to “human chiropractic,” she attended Options for Animals in Wellsville, KS.

She and her husband opened Active Life Chiropractic near Battlefield & Hwy 65 in 2012 committed to providing top quality care and services. She became a runner and triathlete after chiropractic school and enjoys growing as an athlete and treating athletes in our practice using soft tissue therapies as well as chiropractic care. She is continuing her education with Active Release Technique and looking forward to working at an Ironman event in the provider tent in the future. During time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family as well as working with the animals on their hobby farm. They are an active outdoor family dedicated to living life to the fullest.

Dr. CaitlynDr. Caitlyn graduate from Logan University chiropractic school. She enjoys spending her free time with her boyfriend and family. Anything sports related sparks her interest but specifically softball, basketball and golf. Her passion is to help families and current or future athletes perform to their utmost potential. She is very excited for her career in chiropractic and is excited to begin here at Active Life.

Her injuries through competitive sports led her to seek chiropractic care in high school. Shoulder pain ended her dream of playing college basketball, but with the help of chiropractic care, she was able to achieve another dream playing college softball. Her pain was managed and was able to continue playing with nothing more than a handful of bumps and bruises. The damage done in her shoulder ended up giving her trouble during chiropractic school and had to resort to surgery but thanks to the post-surgical care she received at Logan, she was able to return to full activity in less than 4 months! Softball continues to be a love and enjoy getting to play in summer leagues in her spare time.
